Haven't been on alot lately, but long story short the old motor finally took its final shit after a slutty faithful 6 years of being face fucked and hurting grown mens feelings. Lost a rod and completely destroyed the block finally (as when I had welded her shut from the previous hole in it, I went to 89 mm... The last on the sleeves that could be done.). The small end of number one rod (Eagle) opened up spinning fourth gear off the limiter at 110 MPH on pump and meth (coincidentally with the kid that was going to buy the long block in the car as I had already planned on building a completely new motor, E85, bigger turbo cams and a cage anyways)... Plans have changed now, but car is getting caged still... Just the build will be slightly hotter than Last time.
Was taking him for a test drive and 3rd pull she let loose LOL. Not sure if this vid will come up (Its on his FB) but he was recording :noel: . Shifted fourth it spun, I peddled it and Boom. Too bad too, upon dis-assembly All the bearings and pistons other than number 1 were perfect. Crank, perfect... Bent 2 ex valves, but other than that Head was Ok too. Sold the head and some other stuff and threw everything else away. Had too. Shortblock was fucking ravaged.

So as I didnt get the 2Gs out of the old motor I thought Id have to throw at the update, the scope of the revamp isn't gong to be as much as Id hoped.... No NEW block, No E85 and maybe no NEW turbo... Im going to use the same Intake, TB, injectors/fuel system and manifold setup... And for now (If I cant sell the T04ZR for the BB 6765 a buddy has) Ill run the same turbo too. I hasve enough fuel for 800 on gasoline, and thats all Im really looking for, it shouldnt be a big problem. Car should be even more effecient with the changes.
650 on the meth setup on top of pump is the real goal.
The car is getting a cage though. Well get started on that mid FEB, Having a hoop and halo bent for it by a buddy and Alex and I will cage it. It will be legal... Cage will be scotch brited and clear coated and kept nice and tight and as out of view as I can get it.
Also this weekend starting the ABS delete and putting a bigger PCV catch can where it was.
Bought Mitches old Benson sleeved H22A1 closed deck block that was in the Prelude for 200 bucks with caps and crank bridge (It was at 87.5mm, going to 88mm on this build) It had a much less traumatic breakage before mine did the first time so... you guessed it... I had Ricky @ Speedfactory weld the fucking hole up and Im building of it. No real structural damage at all ;O) Before and afters:

Have a set of ACL main bearings alreadsy and everything to complete the shortblock but an oil pump and rod bearings. Its all going to Ross' machinist so that I can have them measure the rods big end ID and Crank after the polish and figure out OEM rod bearings... Also, I will be o-ringing this one. Plan is .030 in and .010 out of the groove. No satep on Benson/Darton blocks and I want to make SURE I have no HG issues like that 89MM clusterfuck had. It never had issues like that before. It was seriously fucking retarded.
Running .005 P2W a(As I have really good luck there with the power level im at. Shooting for .0020 Rod bearing clearance as well. Squirters deleted.
Blake has helped me out alot with some little H22 shit he had laying around I need. He hooked me up with a mint ass H22 head that has had some porting done and Brand new Bronze guides installed... The head is going out to have the porting finished up, but I got bored and polished the fuck out of the CCs. The pics dont do them justice... Theyre fucking blingin'

The head will be stuffed with Ferrea Valves and Supertech Springs and retainers again, but this time with Pro 1s, the Crower gears and a fair amount of port massaging Shes gonna breathe hard :O)
Took the trans apart to look at how everything was fairing after the summers beating (It didnt break 1 fucking thing this year.... Winning!!! Only Change was going back to an OEM 1-2 slider ( I was beta testing Synchrotechs new 1-2 Selector sleeve and didn't like the 2-1 shift). Sending it back for modifications and theyre sending me a new one with the changes I asked for and a couple more sets of syncros. Im having GREAT luck with their newest carbon syncro desiugn and HIGHLY reccomend them. I didnt much care of them before this round. Im using TORCO RTF and that shit is fucking AMAZINGBALLS too :O)

Im using a Devils own progressive controller, 12 GPH nozzle with a 2.5 gallon tank and an asjustable pressure switch for a fail safe. There is a check valve right at the chargepipe as well, as to stop vacuum from wicking meth into the chargepipe when nor in boost as well.

Kit kicks in at 14 pounds and is all in by 20. I made a touch over 600 wheel on it at 26 Pounds.
Mitch had this setup in his car and used the switch to switch timing maps so when the switch sees no pressure from meth, it pulls all the timing out of the map... WHich... Worked as I was racing him one time and the tank went dry and It pulled the timing out and I heard it work right next to me. 620 WHP to whatever with 0 timing but the same boost really sounded horrible, and I thought there had to be a better way.
I HAVE IT setup to where the Switch IS THE NOGGLE button. So, if there is line pressure... The ecu lets the car go on the hi boost settings (Using GPO input). If there is no line pressure, It only falls back on the pump safe boost, no more timing pulled like what Mitch had. That way, No weird shit from falling back onto a map making a bunch of boost with no timing at all. I tested it and the switch registers instantaneously, and the ecu adjusts instantly switching from Hi to low boost tables. It works PERFECT!
Also, I have a big VERY BRIGHT Blue LED on the dash that lights up when the kit comes in... It flutters when its ramping up and comes on solid when the pump is in 100 percent so I know whats going on :O)

Going with a 40/ 40 prop valve and Type-R MC with the 1" piston. The corner will be filled by a new Catch can setup that has an integrated tank for PS fluid.

Decided to revamp my 3D model of GFI catch can dreams.
I like this one alot better, it fits better will be easier to make, allows for great and effective baffling and capacity as well as keeping any sort of liquid from the breathers while helping drain back to the pan well under acceleration The rear of it is actually angled back at the return to the front of the pan...

Have everything measured with posterboard templates so need to go buyy material today, and get cuttin... Need 2 -10 bungs, a -6 bung and some tubing to make the breather filter tubes.
Also bought a LX brake proportioning valve for the car so that I can put the brakes back together since I deleted the ABS where this bitch is going to sit. Need to find a CD5 LX with no motor in it so I can rob the front brake lines, or just make new iones
Since I got a job today (pending BG check, which should check out cooo) Ill have more cash to throw at it, but I dont want to get stupid as I have another car I want to build (Finish) in the next couple years, I found one. MINT, cheap... SO Im gonna buy it and let her sit for a while till after summer and get the chassis worked out first. LOw dollar Big sinlgle piston rod head LS 5.3 Fox-mont :O)
The Accord will go at that point to fund it.

All ABS shit removed.
Went to Junkyard, got LX brake lines and a 40/40 prop valve off a teggy.
Had to make a couple lines so went and got some tubing, so bent and flared em up:
1. Rear master to prop valve due to 1 inch master having a weird bigger flare fitting.
2. Prop valve to pass side

Switched Power boosters to a LX unit (for clearance so the intake mani dont hit it any more... The old one had gone out and I had to just about pull the motor out to get at it) and smaller 15/16 Master... 1" EX Just wouldnt work due to pushrod gayness and clocking issues.. I fucked all kinds of around with it and just went to the 15/16 (as the old M/C had shit itself too, I almost wrecked it dirtying 4th up behind my house and said fuck it... Time to fix this shit). Works great, all ABS gone, brand new MHs on it.... Leed came down and street tuned it, Its only "tuned" on pump so far.. But it wanted more fuel everywhere and VTEC moved up. Cams are in at 0/0... Well fuck with them on the dyno... I have a VC with bungs and th timing cover cut off ready to go.
200 miles on her so far. Dirty dirty girl. Very healthy... Going to start feeding her the tweek juice here this weekend probably... Just have to fuck around with the EBC... Its not coming off the gates as it should.
Just a few more things to fuck with, cage in... and shes done. Again LOL

I have the same setup on my 4g lude and I've had to take out the thermostat, plus have the fan on most of the time. I guess the prelude's front open area is smaller than the Accord though.

As for the radiator... Its a 3 core. Last motor it wolked great SOLID 185s... It doesnt workl as well on this one, ths motor seems to run a tad warmer Like 192... Im wondering if its the Closed deck. Not sure I like it (The closed deck block) though.

Story GOes I Bought a 05 Silverado 4x4to tote around my dirtbike and shit that was a pile of crap. Had to take it back. It was clean as fuck that had a good deal of miles on it but had a bunch of issues.
Had to fight to get my money back, but they couldn't get me the APR they contracted so they fucked themselves.
Ross has a buddy that owns a lot that got me a dumb (for my credit) 5.9 APR on a 2007 Cummins Ram 2500 HD. ITs a lil brodozered out, on 22/37s (Which i think im going to lower it 2" and put 35s on it) but its CLEAN AS FUCK in and out with 89k on it. I put the car up for sale, and my dad told me if I kept it at my house in my garage HE owns a few rental houses but lives on a big fucking boat), worked on it and kept it up for him... He was interested in it. So I sold it to him for 11K (Was asking 13) so I could put 15K down on the truck.
HE makes bank, it aint shit to him... Hes just like I am too and is buying it purely to fuck with people in LOL.

Put a K&N in it, silencer ring and grid delete.... building a Aluminum intake tube this weekend, ordered a Trans-go shift kit and GM governor solenoid kit... GOt a dual stabilizer for the Broriffic 37s on chrome nigga!
Then, Just put a couple gauges (EGT TRANS TEMP AND BOOST) in it and have Ross throw a 50-60 hoprse EFI live tune at it for MPGs...
Ill ride the 37s out for a minute though... O0
