Title: new member question
Post by: japcarmad on October 06, 2013, 11:46:42 AM
hi new member from scotland here

ive got all my parts ready to turbo my d16y7 the only thing i havent done is decided on some sort of fuel enrichment. i was wondering what you guys though was the best low budget way of adding fuel while in boost. the civic is also an autospastic so a chipped ecu is out of the question for now. ive seen alot of Peugeot guys running an extra injector but thats just one set amount of fuel from 1 - 7 psi not a linear enrichment as id like. i was thinking of mabey a comparator circuit to control injector drivers from the MAF output.

thanks in advance

Comes into an engine management forum and specifically states and excuse why they will not run proper engine management.

Piggybacks are teh sux, kids.  GTFO with that stuff.

lol.  I love it when people cheap out, cut corners despite good advice, and blow their motor.  It like poetic justice.

Piggyback with a 2nd ecu, preferably obd1 running crome, neptune, s300, etc. That will definitely keep your trany happy, and your transmission.
