Title: Solid CEL Fuel pump doesnt prime
Post by: flat_black on December 27, 2013, 10:56:25 PM
I went to start the H22 prelude (chipped PR4 with Hondata) been sitting at least a few months, car ran fine when i parked it.

Connected battery turn key and solid CEL no Pump priming. I have another car on hondata swapped ecus and it starts and runs fine.. so obviously issue with ECU..

I keep reading about capacitors leaking etc etc.. however board looks clean.. anyone know how to test this shit or got any pointers on where to start...

usually the caps put out a "fishy" smell when they are leaking  :noel:

Does the Hondata have to be reflashed if there is no battery to keep rom in buffer?

I didn't smell anything..

I swapped the hondata unit from ecu to ecu and it works as it should.. so yeah it remembers..
