What's your budget Walter?

I would try and run a T28 if you can find one, or a T25 is second choice.

Hi, im running with a SR20DET T28 journal bearing already, i have to say it needs a lot for tune it but looks like it have lag for vitara setup... i was thinking about T25 but not sure if there are other turbos cheaper even..

if that turbo lags, you have an exhaust leak. lol

If that T28 is laggy you're in trouble...there's probably something not right with the setup.

Only thing smaller and cheap is a k03 or k04 from an 1.8T VW/Audi but you'll be maxing it out to get it up past 200whp.

btw, what rpm it's supposed to get full boost (14-16psi) on a D16 vitara build with T28?

Im using a Ford T3 turbo, it made 210whp Mustang dyno on a low compression B20A non intercooled with a meth kit on 12psi

Probably in the low 3000's. When I ran a 50trim T3 (smaller cold side, larger hotside), it made 10psi before 3500rpm. That was with a stock Civic B-pipe and stock axle-back.
