Last year i took my car down to Shift-S3ctor's 1/2 mile event. Ended up going 182.33mph in my Integra with 0 areo work other than taping the headlights up.
Anyway after taping up the headlights i gained just shy of 3mph. So i thought holy shit i wonder how this car will do with some Aero work. Well i have been working on it and plan to go to the next Shift-S3ctor in April.

As you can see with the tire size i run, the car sits quite high off the ground. so my goal was to get it as low to the ground as possible:
I have now done a front splitter/Air dam, Doing a full underbody/Flat bottom, did Hood Exit exhaust for weight savings/Downforce and will be doing a block off for the headlights and i also got some KIWI 5" Sideskirts!

The front splitter is about a 3/4" out, it is more of an air dam than anything. The lip i used, was a sweet $46 EBay lip that fit better than anything ive bought lol.

Anyway, hoping the extra aero stuff and a little more downforce up front will help me get to the goal of 190mph in the 1/2!

pretty sure its mounted to the bumper/lip, the to the side skirts...and some randomly placed hanger brackets down the center of the car, like off the rear swaybar mount...

For those extra few mph have you considered going with an aftermarket air filter or even a cold-air intake? If you go with a cold air kit, you will have to remove it when you go to the dealer. Good luck!

Very nice. How is the diffuser going to look like?
Also I would take off the rear wing, it's doubtful its doing something useful, if anything it would slow you down by unnecessary downforce on the back.

While that was a raping and a half, sadly i do not think he was making the power he said. Rumor has it he was only making 620whp. The 300shot he claims he has probably would have been a good race but o well.
When we asked him how much power it was making, he said 888whp

i will say, between the front splitter, hood exit exhaust and new R888's. This fuckin car hooks more power than i ever have in the past. 32ps in 4th gear, and 24 in 3rd. A full 750whp in 4th gear? fucking car rips lol. For doing that on a non drag radial tire that is nuts!

Are you planning on blocking off some of the front bumper opening? Or you gonna just rock it the way it is? Rear plate looks great. And I LOVE the fact that this is still a tabbed car and you could drive it on the street.

Not really more power, the 6262 is already taped out.. I mean i can go up in boost, but weather or not it makes more power there i another story... lol
Exhaust is out the hood! :).
I thought about doing a Air to WAter FMIc and closing the front up, but as of right now i do not have time. So if the car survives and i do NOT Meet my goal of 190mph, i will be doing that.

Quick update guys:
First pass today, 19psi in 3/4/5 did 173.xx mph. Car was straight as an arrow and felt great.
Noticed my battery light came on at the end of the track, came back around and alt belt was still on. Diagnosed it Alt fucked. Called around every auto parts store locally. Nobody had any integra Alt's in stock. Bought a 92 civic alt and switched out the electronics to mine and it was good.
Went out next pass a couple hours later... It was a hot day today, 85 deg+... 8psi 1st, 15psi 2nd, 20 3rd, 26 in 4/5th.. crossed the traps at 9800 in 5th and went 184.57mph.
Car feels a shit ton more stable than it used to. Aero Deff helped.
Going to raise rev limit to 10,200 and do a run in the morning..I will keep boost settings the same as they are now and see what it does, then turn it up :)
A little quick data for ya, IAT's were 116 beginning of pull, 102 at end. ECT 194.7 at start, 190.1 at end. 18 secs of 100% TPS.. 6 sec pull in 5th gear! lol.

Day 1 recap: No Bisi, Myles loses an alternator on first pass. After finding a replacement went on his second and last pass of the day at 184.5 landing him the first place trophy in FWD class.

Man what a fucin awesome weekend. I got 3 runs all over my last 182.33 pass in October.
I would say the Aero was worth a Solid 4-5mph.. Not only that but the car is so much more stable going down the track. I am 100% happy with this weekends results.
Is there a 190mph pull in the car? YES! If i would have turned it up to 31-32psi in 4/5th gear i fully believe it would have done it. When i went 184 on Saturday i left the boost settings just like that for the next day, and ran in the morning when it was in the 70's and went 187 (also upped the rev limiter to 10200rpm, so that could have been it too)
I decided to take my stock GSR wing off after that... Yeah big mistake. lol.. I upped the boost 2% but it got so much warmer i actually lost 1 psi lol. Anyway pass seemed good, until i hit the brakes. People told me it looked like the back locked up an i went sideways at about 170 or so! Got off the brakes, straightened it out then got back on them and it went sideways again! I was able to recover once again and get back on them. Fuck it was hard to keep it straight i will tell you that.... Thankfully it all worked out and i didn't spin out and im still here! Still went 185mph on that pass.
Needless to say, the Integra once again surprised the hell out of everyone and turned heads like no other.
Dead hooked all of 28psi in 4th gear on a fuckin 225! Going to have a video up later of the Speedo/Tach (its pretty awesome) lol.

Wow! it gets to 180s so fast, I can't imagine it needs any more boost—more likely just bigger tyres or gearing, and it should ease to 190 like butter, imo.

I'm thinking the same thing. It accelerates hard even above 150mph. I think gearing is your only issue. Tire size is probably the easiest adjustment of that

As of right now i am thinking of doing a Final Drive. That will give me 5mph in 5th gear which is huge.
Really even keeping it how it is right now and just revving it a little higher isn't scaring me at all.
LS trans in this car would suck donkey balls.
I might upgrade it to a GSR 5th gear which will also give it quite a few more MPH. But man i just love the gear split it currently has, and it works fucking great.

Slightly different rear tire size (narrower) would create less drag, also someone on facebook mentioned wheel covers.

Stock GSR 1-4th gear, ITR 5th gear with a 4.4 Final Drive..
tire size is 225/50/16 Toyo R888's in the front.
No class rules that i run in, thankfully!

Gear-X 4.058 FD, WPC treated.....dunno of Kiwi has a straight cut version
before 10,000 rpm = 197 mph
after 10,000 rpm = 213 mph
10,000 rpm vs 9230 rpm for 197 mph....
THAT will put you in the proper rpm range, just need to improve the aero to get there.
Start by closing off the grille some but also need to vent what air is making it through. Seem your belly pans might be trapping that air. From what you have posted ECT and IAT are not climbing during the run so you can afford to block off more, just how much?
Canards are not for ricers, they would help if done right on the front fenders, but so will lowering the spliter and side skirts.
With an A2W IC you can afford to close off more frontal area plus put the ice tank in the spare tire well as ballast to help keep the rear end down at speed.
Even just playing with the rake of the body can help with stability AND aero....
just thoughts for now :)

Remove the pin in your speedometer that your indicator rests on. This will allow your car to go even faster due to the speedometer not being blocked as it comes around the dial face. Trust me, I do science.

this is the badest shit I have seen in awhile. trega threw down with vets and lambos in the 1/2 mile, I fucking love it.
I could add some information:
circle jerkers have lots of stupid aero tricks, the best are the giant slow plow noses. (maybe not the best idea in your case) the cars have no fans and a very small opening for the giant radiator behind it. it works by slowing the air down (small hole to big hole) and using the increase in pressure. generally you get a much better transfer delta from a radiator then from an intercooler, so the intercooler needs tones of air to get it to produce near ambient temps.
id say your better off with an air to water and making your radiator opening much smaller (think bottom of a cereal box) that's just a guess on my part) and then design the ducting right. there are tons of circle track articles that talk about doing this.
also what everyone else said "wheel covers, spoilers, etc."
dumb question:
why the hell are the side view mirrors still on the car, I would ditch that shit like jury duty.
and maybe consider (if you haven't already) a jumbo depends from your engine, I'm guessing at 180+ there are only bad options once your engine is blown and barfing oil everywhere.
regardless, I fucking love everything about this car.
one more completely rationale suggestion, steel bisi's pile of wheel spinning cum, force him to race you at gun point. then when he looses make him drink the sweet from your balls of solid fucking steel!

I agree, i wish i could do some wheel covers but not sure if there are any out there that will work on my wheels.
I would like to so an Air to Water and close up the front end but i think i am going to do a 4.266 FD and upgrading to a 6466 turbo. Should make gobs of power :).
Deff doing a wing and will be closing up some of the front end.
Colorado might be the best place i could take this car to go 190, Thinner air will hurt power, but up boost is easy! Thinner air means car goes faster!

Maybe I'm missing something, but to me, aero doesn't seem to be your problem. It's not like the car hits a wall and stops accelerating. I would think gearing and traction would be the direction to look

Aero isn't exactly the problem but doing a rear wing would help the car.
But yes more gearing would help, just pulled the trigger on a 4.267 M-Factory Final drive should be here next week.
Traction, kinda seems like im a the limit in 1-2-3rd but 4th and 5th both can benefit for some more power!
I will also be upgrading the turbo to a 6466. I kinda think this will be the winning combo.

I could go right now to the Colorado event and not change anything, so yes its ready but i will be doing some more stuff to it for that event.

Here's a datalog from my 187mph pull. Hondata Traction control doing its thing pulling timing. Im pretty sure 4th gear was just a bump in the road.

Also, it was 80+ degrees out that day and IAT's went from 114 to 97 deg by the end of the run. Good FMIC FTW.

It's pretty cool to see temps drop. Most cars I tune stay the same or slightly increase. Nobody around here puts together a balanced turbo kit

Thanks runs on E98, which might help it a little but i am using the Stock IAT sensor in stock location..dont think the E98 would show lowering IAT's.. So i am not sure HOW accurate it is, ive been told they are a little slow at reacting but i could be wrong.

I could see that contributing to the coolant dropping temp.
I have heard the iat sensor being slow too. Next chance I get, I'm gonna test it with a heat gun. I could see it being a little slow being coated in plastic, but I doubt all that noticeable.

Yeah IAT's are not changing that i can see based on the injector's. Too far down the manifold.
So looks like i am on a Quest to run 10's on an R888. Starts Tonight, will let you guys know how it goes!

Traction control wasnt working, Hondata logs were showing some really crazy shit like 789mph VSS, TPS 3%, car not actually in the right gear it is in.. Just a bunch of shit lol.
Ran a sweet 12.0@127 on 12psi tho lol
