Any of you guys used these? Not that I'm looking to keep the wastegate cooled off, but ebay has the 44mm gates for about $80 shipped. I've had good luck with the $50 ebay 38mm units. Just wondering if these are worth rolling the dice on?

I don't use the watercooled one but my std 44mm works perfect

Seems like all they offer for the 44 v band is this

or this(water cooled even though it doesn't say it)

The Wyntonm (1st) has been around for a while and a bunch of people have used them w/o issue. You'll find references to the on yellowbullet. The 2nd is just as good/bad as any CDM wastegate, but I'd expect a bit worse. The initial CDM diaphragms on the original 35/38mm gates sucked but eventually got better, so I'd presume the 44mm copy will do the same. The models I've seen disassembled were also not cross-drilled for functional watercooling. The holes are threaded but they aren't connected.

Mine is the first one wyntom or what ever is all I buy from for waste gates and bovs

Confused. Why cool a wastegate?
-
Because they get hot and the spring "sags". After years of TiAl saying it's only the china springs that weaken with heat, I'm positive it's only for boats/endurance and those w/o intelligent boost control.
