sold my ss camaro. made about 3k off it.
i found this pristine 95 vette for sale cheap has 120k. so i bought it. gunna cruise it for a while and sell it to some old man and make some $$$
its been extremely well taken care of, the interior is very very nice black/dark grey leather, everything works. no broken plastic pieces, the exterior is very nice as well, paint is great. has one scratch on the rear bumper that needs to be touched up. but other than that its perfect.
has lt1 and auto trans. not worry about the auto trans, don't plan on keeping the car. has the performance rear end gears, so i'm assuming they are in the 3s somewhere instead of the 270 whatevers or whatever the autos usually come with
it actually has pretty good power, id say its pretty close to a stock ls1 camaro. i'll take it to the drags and see what it can do. for sure it'll get much better traction.
i paid 4900 for it. i think i could sell it for 6k in the summer pretty easy, but might try for more.

I personally would have kept the camaro, or sold the camaro and got something else with a lsx. Gto or a g8 or something. Not a fan of the c4 vets. Looks like a late 80s/early 90s trans am.

The difference in price is huge between a gto g8 and a c4 vette. Like 10k at least....
Just buying it to cruise and sell, then ill buy something else. The camaro was powerful and fun the interior wasnt in great shape. iv e had three ls1 m6 camaros. Still have a 99....

I like c4 vettes for some reason. Fyi they have shitty brakes lol wow.
The 4th gen camaros would outbrake these by at least 10 to 20 feet from 60

A local has one that looks just like that all decked out for auto-x by the stadium. It's set loose as hell and the added power doesn't help. It's like watching someone ride a bull for a full minute.

I'd say apples to apples they're fairly similar. Lower price but lower performance. However I've seen several GTO's in the 6-8k range lately. People need money fast or can't keep up with the insane insurance bill due to tickets. Statistically they get nearly as many tickets as WRX drivers. People can also get older camaro/mustangs for much less or a supercharged CTSV for not much more.

i should get the tuned ecm in a couple days maybe it'll be a tad faster. not sure. it'll definitely shift better though

Nice vette, you got steal on that for how clean it is. Even though the lt1 autos are all over the place around here that would sell for 7-10k
I have an 89' l98/m6 corvette, fully optioned and 6k I paid was cheap. I love that most people hate c4s more parts/cars for me on the cheap.
Also everyone thinks there slow turds, I can hang with c5/m6 , b6 s4, etc just fine for a 80s car, not bad imho.

the pcm4less ECM will be here today. will be nice to have firm shifts and not so lame shift points. i doubt it will be any faster but maybe a tad? O0

there is a guy coming to look at vette in a couple days. going for 8-9k
there is a 96 6spd LT4 on cl i want to buy now, they want 8k for it. try to get it for less obviously
the 6spd lt4 are pretty quick, decent cars
