lol, Guy I know fucked up our local dealer. Local dealer would not come off thier 5k over sticker, so he went 70 miles up the road and bought one, then during the local dealers unveiling, he paraded it through the parking lot before anybody in attendance even saw the one the dealer had, even the people that pre-paid.
-
haha. how bad ass is that. O0
-
Funny as shit, had the anouncer confused and everything, only thing he should have done to make it better would have been to get some stickers to put the retail price on the windshield.
Columbus is a military town with Ft. Benning just down the road, and dealers here are eager for that signup bonus money, so they rape you coming and going
-
what would have been sweeter is to do a 2min brakestand in the parking lot throwing all the rubber over the dealers camaro
-
then they'd probably call the cops and file charges, cuz they roll dirty like that

dealers here in NC are the same dam way. I went to look at the new challenger, no intentions on buying, but I like to think the "what if" factor. In all seriousness... i'm turning down a $50k bonus right now, and could pay for a challenger in cash. I told the dealer that, hoping he would let me drive it...he was quick to say...you need more than that son. I said...but the sticker price is...he said, haha. If you wanna pay sticker, buy one off the internet. I said, sweet. I looked at it, sat in it, peeked under the hood, fired it up, and said...thanks. Ill buy one from the internet then. -and I left.

the back ends of those are ugly as fuck
-
When I was living in NY, a buddy of mine did that, he laid $62k in cash on the hood of the viper and still had a wad in his hand, then told the dealer he could keep his POS
-
lol, GM=FAIL

The rear end just looks thrown together. Like they ran out steam when they get to the rear of it when they designed it. They should of just kept the retro theme going as they did with the rest of the car. How does this look like this? ???

fort benning is just a bunch of people that might as well live in alabama.
-
Can you say:
Pt Cruiser
Prowler
300M
All hype, and soon to be dog shit.
-
WTF is wrong with Alabama, at least we can shoot a fool dead for trespassing, in GA they have to be already in your home and not facing away from you.
-
idk. a SS, id glady take one, and buy one...if I could afford it.

Prowler = mass fail
Add the Crossfire to that, more plastic inside than my CRX.
I see plenty of PT's and 300's around me, and the Dodge dealer up the road seems to always have 3-4 Challangers sitting in the lot for sale.
-
I think if we werent in a recession, these the new challengers would be hard to get.
Also, id like to think we are in another "Muscle car era" I think if the govt wouldnt be such bitches, there would be some real serious machines on the road right now.

True, but the question is if you invest in one today, will the world accept it in 30 years so you can sell it and reitre with a phat life
-
Really, I wouldn't give a shit.

I'd be more concerned if you could get good gas in 30 years to run it on.
-
thats what you get when you pay a japaniess person to build a muscle car. WTF was GM thinking, WTF does a jap know about american icons?
-
does it Transform?

already has a recall, battery cable is too close to the starter or something and could start a fire.
LAWL Pile of shit. GM can burn in hell with Chrysler.

he should have orchestrated a dramatic mock break-down during the unveiling, i.e. make the car buck and stall, then dump out a gallon of green cool-aid under the motor, then loud curse words.

at least chrysler got the WHOLE THING RIGHT. The camaro is close to awesome... About like 66% Throttle. God dam what were they thinking with the ass end of it???
Keeping with the theme and doing a 69 style set of rear lights (Sincew they opted for the grille.... The most awesomew one of the 67-8-9 IMO) would have been the play.
A hide away headlight RS option??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

What dealerships do they have? I know they had the big Bill Heard dealership near Columbus Square Mall, but don't recall any other dealerships there, although I'm sure there are some.
fort benning is just a bunch of people that might as well live in alabama.
Ft. Benning was ranked as the top infantry base multiple times... What does it have to do Alabama? Being a person that lived in Columbus/Ft. Benning for 14 years and Huntsville, AL for 7...I think my opinion is more valid than yours. I'm fairly sure I'd rather live in either of those places than whatever area you live in full of people that love to feed into generalizations and stereotypes.
WTF is wrong with Alabama, at least we can shoot a fool dead for trespassing, in GA they have to be already in your home and not facing away from you.
Truth. I'm happier in Huntsville, AL than I was in Columbus, GA. I'm sure you have over 20 years of living experience in the two states though, Kain.
-
I'm not a fan...sure its quick, but its too big and fugly IMO
-
Bill Heard is now Legacy chevrolet. Basicly the same 'ol shit, different slave driver
And its PeachTree Mall now. Times change, BS stays the same
-
I seen a few of these around Kent/Auburn area couple of months ago.
I don't care what everybody else thinks, but I don't mind the way they look.
-
From the front end i can see how someone may find it appealing, with a jutting chin and wide stance, it looks mildly aggressive and it may have some low end grunt to back that up. But nothing Gm produces (aside from the corvette) will ever compete what your money could buy in a german or japanese sport oriented vehicle. To this day for under 25k you can get a used e46 m3 in good shape with relatively low miles. Fantastic build quality, doesnt feel cheap, very responsive, great balance between power and staying civiclized at the same time, its just a very refined and overall great car for the money. That, what i have just explained, is something you will never find in an Northern American built vehicle.
