Title: Any experience with IHI RHC6?? (GM1-8)
Post by: Gino on May 12, 2009, 09:54:25 PM: I found a pretty good deal on one of these. Now after reading all of this im a little confused on how good it will be for my car. Basically D16, with vitaras. Is this things gonna spool stupid late? My goal is 300whp. I pretty sure this will get me there. Heres some info i found on it

Post by: AJxr on May 14, 2009, 03:13:49 PM: i ran it on my vitara d16. i wouldnt reccomend if it you have to pay more then 100 for it.. unless its going on a drag car or you dont care about full boost at 5500. i would have rather run a .60 .63 t3.

on an ls... thats a different story.

also yes that turbo will get you 300whp.

Post by: That Guy on May 15, 2009, 02:34:36 AM: what psi would you consider full boost? i have one of these things (gm-8) sitting on the shelf next to my tbird turbo, i was considering using it on my d as well but thought it was a tad too big too.
