Thought I had already made a post about this. 2005 mini cooper s, r53, or whatever. My dumbass brother flipped the connectors on the battery and cranked it, something in the front smoked :?: I checked all fuses, everything seemed legit? I'm thinking starter?

likely suffers from a faulty starter motor, a dead battery, or an immobilizer (EWS) issue

Trying to get the mini running so my cousin can use it.
My concern is if he flipped the connections on the battery, if it could have fucked up anything electrical?
