I have a friend that is using this clutch and he is recomending it for my build is it woth the 350 bones?

I have one with 3000# pressure plate in a small spline cable LS application. It's got a super heavy pedal effort, it's broken clutch cables and pedal boxes. Old school clutches like that work, and grip hard, but they are unpleasant to drive and are the reason why I'm parting that shit out and converting the car to hydro with a more modern clutch.
