Title: Ya'll VtaK tuners need to step it up!!!
Post by: sewell94 on May 17, 2009, 03:09:35 AM
So I figured i'd show a pic of what i've been testing.(moates new demon)

(https://realhomemadeturbo.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi53.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fg62%2Fsewell94%2FCIMG0055.jpg&hash=59a1b8b1c177f97fbc56eb837878a0a8cd1ff1ac)

Its all its cracked up to be, fast as hell, onboard datalogging, extra inputs. All kinds of cool shit that i don't even know about :)

It's a datalogger/ostrich+more in 1.

I might get one eventually, when I get my neptune license. Too bad it doesn't work with crome or else I'd get it a lot sooner.

Its moates new demon, its used for tuning, instead of using a ostrich and a hulog to tune with you can use this. At first i was like whatever, can't be that much better than what i have, who cares if i run an extra usb cable, blah blah. I was wrong, This thing is badass. I'm very impressed.

It will be supported by crome very soon(supposed to be by the 1st if the month),   Check out eCtune while your looking at tuning options, I'm alittle bias'd towards eCtune so i perfer it over Neptune, but both eCtune and Neptune work very well.

Yeah, I'm not dead set on any one just yet. More than likely though, I'll go with eCtune as it seems to have damn good support.

And I've been reading on pgmfi about cui getting one of the demons. So hopefully he does actually come through with this.

I'm also looking for a second Ostrich, v2.0, if anyone's looking to upgrade.

Is there anything grass-roots brewing for the obd2/s2000? I know they had  found something in an accrod ecu. I miss my p72. Shit like this makes me miss it more. Obligatory: FUCK K-PRO! >:(

Does it need the Hondata style 28 pin headers or how does it go onto the ecu?

If you look, you can see it already has the header pins soldered in, so just a socket in the ecu. That white standoff on top appears to be a spacer so the case lid secures it in place.

I'd get one next, but I already have an SSI-4, getting another wideband with extra inputs, and have a bunch of cheap dku-5 cables. If eCtune ever got "advanced" enough to graph sensor info in realtime like Logworks+SSI4, I'd be far more interested.
