Title: 88 CRX SI trans with 90 flywheel **Hybrid clutch information** MDM FTMFW

info that i found

88 crx - 200mm disc and 21 spline

89-91 crx - 212 mm disc and 20 spline

88-89 prelude 8 3/8" disc, approx 212mm and 21 spline

so I think i should be ok to use a 91 pressure plate and flywheel and use the 88 prelude clutch.

i have my eyes out on the act conversion that chris gave me the link for and its still up in the air cause im a broke ass locksmith with hella kids and bills..

Post by: Loserkidwac on May 19, 2009, 06:20:29 PM: Hmm i remember that the 88, 89, 90-91 were different for clutch yess 88 was slammer disc and different spline count i believe 89 was the newer splines but still a smaller disc then the 90-91...haven't messed with stock CRX parts for a while though...go to the parts store and ask to take a look at the parts and lay them out and see...if your info is correct it looks like it should work

Yup thats the correct info not much more to know then that

88 crx clutches LOl I doubt that they have them laying around that transmission is a bAstard and I sold it(88 transmission) to Jay for 25 bucks and gave him free tires to just so I didnt have it collecting rust outside my shop anymore.

We use to get them back in the day for 50 bucks since no one wanted to touch them.

thats a MDM clutch disc sir. custom made to my specs.
