looks like alot of air can go around those without any cooling effect, and if you could make it cool the charge well, it would make for one hell of a restriction

looks pretty restrictive

Looks hella restrictive. Look at the main in and out ports?

You guys are right.  That would be restrictive.

Im not sure if he totally knows whats up.  He was running a 12.8 afr up to and over 8000 on 8psi with resistor 7s at WOT.  Wouldnt post pics of the plugs or explain his reasoning for running that number.  He called it a "little lean".  Ive heard audible det from less boost on lower comp. engines.  I dont know what his timing maps looked like either.  I also wonder what his afr was in the high load low rpm areas.  I just know I wouldnt do that to my engine.

s300 at least.

water flows through the tubes, and air flows over the tubes. the fains on the outside are for air to flow through.

the tubes arent restrictive at all.

Depends on how close they are to the manifold sides, but that also determines how efficent they will be.  Either way, its a shitty concept

Look like they would be best suited for an oil cooler in a radiator tank

the tubes arent restrictive at all.

Are we looking at the same pics, or not?

^^ I agree.  They block almost the whole runner.

if you look at how lht makes the plenums they raise them up higher then this guy, so there not as restricting.

but i would rather a a slightly restricted manifold then 200+ intake temps. but thats me.
