Title: Can anyone help identify information on this turbo. More Info!!!

Got one off of an IH DT466 engine. cannot find much information on them. would like to find out what flange type, and rough power output capabilities this turbocharger has. any info would be appriciated. I believe it is a TO4E17 turbocharger. it is not internally gated so i could run an external gate with my setup. image of what the turbo looks like. http://www.turbosystem.com.mx/imgprods/size2/4652255006.JPG. compressor side is marke a/r .60 and exhaust side is marked 1.24. can anyone give me any information as to what trim etc with those numbers?

The pic is tiny, but it appears to be a T04, with a T4 Exhaust flange, and a HUGE turbine side, as can also be seen with the 1.24 turbine a/r.

Unless you want to put a different exhaust housing on it, this is not a good turbo for your setup.

how bad would it be on a vitara setup? aroun 20lbs.

The actual turbine blade isn't huge, but the housing is. I would have to guess that even with a log mani, you wouldn't see meaningful boost till 5500-6000.

It would be a T4 frame turbo.

You could just blank off one of the scrolls and that would half the actual A/R. If you didnt i dont believe you would be able to spool it >6200rpm.
