I have a weird problem with my map. I start my car the first time it starts no problem, I go and drive around and try and start my car within about 5 mins and it takes seriously 2 minutes to start my car, with me pumping the gas pedal. I then get it started and floor it to get the extra gas burnt out and it bounces off of 5k (where the launch control is set to). If I start driving the problem goes away, if I try and let it idle, the fucker dies and does the same thing. We had a problem with crome on the dyno, while the car was running and trying to update the map it would kill the car. I would have to turn the car off, update the map save it, put it to the emulator, verify it and then it would take to the car.
So what I want to do is to take off the extra features in crome without redoing the whole fucking map.
Setup:
Moates Ostrich 2.0
Chipped p28
Windows XP
Crome 1.5 or 1.5.3 would cause this issue
Ideas?

Post your map.
Hot start problems is almost always the Crank Fuel trim.
Ok, read your whole post, might be some other naggery going on. Post your map though, Ill take a peek. What size injectors? Stock FPR?

560cc injectors (stock evo) stock FPR.

Have modified anything under the advance tab of fuel tools?
I looked at the map and all the values are still at one, which are flooding your motor during start up.
Lower them down by .1 until it runs better, and then fine tune the hundreths.
240/560 isn't close to one is it, lol.

^^ Yup that crank fuel is a bugger

Have you tried building a new map without the advanced features plugin with the same settings, then copy/paste the values from your tuned map into the new map?
-
Try a .8 or .85 on the crank fuel trim. What engine is this? Has timing been sync'd to the map?

Better bust out that timing gun, got to get into habit to sync with the map everytime timing belt has been taken off or dizzy moved.
I'm surprised by how many Hondas run without setting their timing correct.

I know my timing is correct we just did my timing belt less than 2 months ago.

Yes, and its a pain in the ass to copy and paste the values. At least for the injector scaling, it doesn't copy and paste it right.

The dude never used crome to tune before. He deals with ems, emanage, ecuflash (evos) mostly. I will try doing what you suggested. So should I just change the cranking scalar?
-
Change just the crank modifier. Try a big move to get you in the ballpark. Id slam a .8 in there.

Word. I will try that as soon as I get home, my fucking laptop has to be home, and I have to be at work. Thanks man.

Changed the scalar down to .8 and the car starts a shit load better. I will have to fine tune it, but its alot better. Thanks guys.

I am sure he can, it is just if you are willing to make the drive. :P
