brk7e.

Start at  a.044 gap and work your way down.

if it just started breaking up, change the coil and igniter

No need to gap less than .030" at that boost level

Glad you got it worked out. I've used BKR7E plugs for 5 years and they work great.

Addendum, they come pre-gapped to 0.028" or 0.030" or something.

I've always used bkr7e11's. Still got a few sets of used ones. Not tryon to hijack ur thread but how would I tell if the plugs I got in my tool box are useless. They still look real good I just don't know about reusing them.

well every store i went to had no fucking clue about these plugs??  so thats gay.  just picked up some 99 si plugs..   car is still breaking up  >:(   i fuckin hate this shit.   cap and rotor?    who fuckin knows.

now the front left caliper is locking up for no fuckin reason just after i spent xxx amount of money on all new pads/rotors wich i'm sure are now shot..   so theres abother 500 bucks thats gonna have to be spent.

on top of my car not passing emssions..   so i have to pay 650 bucks just to get by so i can enjoy the car for 3 months.

and the clear coat is totally peeling everywhere, and getting rust back all over the fuckin place.

i'm sick of this shit..   i hate not having a fucking garage.   everyday its something new..    fuckin money pit

NGK 1283s are obsolete, I think. That's what the parts person said last time I tried to get some.

1283 is obsolete, but BKR7E-11 is not.  They re-numbered them as 5791's with the new pretty silver/black boxes. :noel:

But, yeah.  Keep your eyes open if they shuffled one part number they shuffled a couple others, guaranteed.
