honda oem sized head gaskets are made to be able to work with +1mm over sized bores, I currently run a 81.5mm bore ls with a stock ls headgasket.

I hope you are correct, I currently need a head gasket, my bore is 84.5mm I have a new b20 honda genuine headgasket (84mm). and don't feel like spending another $100 for a golden eagle bore over oem unit, or even wait for it to get here.

You sure that goes for all Honda hg's? The hg in the f22a measures 85.5mm and the bore is 85mm.

i wish i would have measured my d16, to know what it actually measured, same thing as my ls .5mm over with stock headgasket
i know b18s and d16s stock head gaskets work, how are you measuring it calipers? scale?
just make sure the headgasket does not overhang the cylinder
