Title: expecting my first child 6-24-2009
Post by: SQ is the SQUAD on June 15, 2009, 08:05:08 PM: i havent really talked about it much on here but now the time is getting close. my girl has a due date of 6-24-09. we got two early ultrasounds, we belive it is a girl, but not 100% sure. if it comes out as a boy we are screwed. i actually do want a girl

somehow we ended up having 3.5 baby showers so we got soooooo much crap. the babys room is fully furnished and she has enough clothes to last her first year without wearing anything twice ( ok, maybe a little exzageration)

this is both of our first child. my girl has been overly excited. i am happy, but not as excited. i took some pics of the nursery and my girs $850 stroller. she better not ever complain about me spending too much money on my car is she gonna buy the wolds most expensive stroller (this was the cheaper version).

Get one those carriers that strap in the front of you or your wife.

When a guy walks around in a mall with his baby in one of those carriers tons of hot chick and MILFs come up and talk to you. :evil: ;D

When you go to a zoo or a place where you would be pushing that stroller long distance you wil hate big ass stroller.

Anyways congrats and enjoy.

I have 4 kids and I enjoy them.

After learning some tricks the hard way we were experts at having kids by the third.

Post by: raiden571 on June 17, 2009, 06:56:13 AM: there fun. the first few weeks are probably the toughest and then you just have highs and lows. 850 for a stroller is crazy. when she grows out of it you will have a nice basket with wheels.....you never know, you may end up having a mega beast. how big are you and your family, and your woman? our son is 6 months and already wears 12m and 18m clothes, 30in-21lb. we figured he might be big since i am a pretty big guy and my girls family is mostly tall, but he has grown out of almost everything we bought him before being born and eats ALOT.

so if we are sleep and her water brakes i am in the same boat. usually when the water brakes you dont have to rush out the house in a crazy rush. but you wont know til it happen lol.

its funny you mention a big stroller and the zoo, i just did that this last weekend, and it was a total pain in the ass!

the little umbrella one is by far the best, but when you have to push 2 kids around it dosent work so well. the only good part about the big stroller is both kids didnt run off and were really good. suprised me!

i guess i cant bitch about pushing the stroller actually, i made my GF push it, she could use the excercise... ;D

I'm happy now that all my kids are in school I can come home to a empty semi-clean home and eat a quite lunch. :yes:
