Title: My Painter sent me PICTURES of the CRX!!!!!!!!!1
Post by: hatchboy on June 18, 2009, 06:19:21 PM: For anyone who cares. My painter (an old hotrod dude thats been painting cars his whole life and doing custom stuff) sent me 12 pictures today! a great birthday present! Can't wait to get out of iraq and see it when its all done!
Will be Frost White!

01 thru 05 are first coat primer 06 -08 are second coat primer 09-12 are with a guide coat.

LOL henry though the last shots were of the paint, and it was going to be blue.

Hes old school. I just let him run with it, apparently all my interior is pulled out and hes reshooting the floor frost white too.

Dude rules, hes cleaning up my shock towers etc also, he just started naming off a ton of stuff hes going to do while im gone in his email.

1k, Doug. Look a the picture next time, he has a full paint booth with filters etc etc and a lift inside it. Open your eyes my friend. I think he put the guide coat on outside but that will all be coming off anyway. but he always pulls them out and sprays it down with a air hose etc before he does the next coat. He is obsessive. I have seen atleast 20 paint jobs of his, All show car quality.

My favorite car color, especially after owning a black car and having to wash it very often.

I have faith in the old man, he has crazy cars in the shop there, and ive seen a ton of paint jobs hes done. Everyone is beautiful. And he does EVERYTHING by hand, no orbitals or anything.

Where do you get that from? All I could make out was an inarticulate gargling noise when we were passing her around earlier.
