Title: Snow day, couldn't go to work, now I'm bored.
Post by: darkelvis on March 10, 2009, 10:44:17 AM: Yep, it was 35 and melting last week, and now it's fucking storming. Blizzard warning expecting to see 20+ inches of snow in some areas around here. Only expecting 12 or so inches around fargo though. Got a bunch of rain the night before last, snow all day yesterday, and now the blizzard started this morning. All schools closed, all highways closed, can't even get the wife's tahoe out of the driveway, 2 cars stuck on my road, and my boss wanted to know why I couldn't make the 20 mile drive to work in my del sol this morning. I'm bored and this sucks. Pics for reference.

This isn't even "the storm" yet either...it isn't supposed to get nasty until later on this morning/early afternoon.

pussies, fuck that. This town only shuts down if we are expecting 20+ inches. :) It isn't the snow that is the problem, it's the inch of ice under it and the -30 wind chill right now.

Same as here the last couple days (see my FUCK I HATE ALBERTA thread), we didn't get 20" but we did get nearly 10" and the same white out and blowing snow.

I stand by highrollers pussies.

Snow days rock, I wish we had those here. Last time we had a snow day it was half assed and most stuff was still open and we had over 36" fall overnight.

We actually closed schools for snow that never cam like half a day early.

we get 3" and this state shuts down.
