I was at work the other day and some asshole in a crowley foods 18wheeler hit my car and drove away. ripped the rear bumper clean off the car at least 3 feet from the car. i have a witness that works next door and the superviser at crowleys stopped over the next day to take pics and whatnot. needless to say the asshole is gonna be terminated. thats what you get for a hit and run. anyway hopefully the money i get from it will get me another bumper and maybe a little extra cash.
cliff notes: dont be a fag, dont hit someones car and drive off, theres always someone watching

It wasn't nearly that bad, but last fall I got my mirror smashed into by some asshole when it was parked at my buddies house. He just so happened to have been on the porch and caught the name of the company AND the van number. Company called me and told me to forward them the bill, I pocketed it and haven't bothered to fix the mirror yet :P

i almost peed myself, thats hilarious.
when i went to BCC i saw a squint parking his benz, swung wide and hit the parked bmw in the next spot on the way in, denting in the passenger door. he backed out, reparked, then went to class without leaving info. so, i wrote down the benz license plate, parking pass # and description of the squint, and left it on the bmw.

I watched an RV trying to fit down a tight downtown sidestreet saw back and forth on some old lady's Buick, then leave. I left the RV's number on the Buick, and my contact info. There's nothing that made me happier than having a Sheriff then insurance company call me for details.
Fuck assholes like that.

A co-worker of mine bought a brand new Pilot and only had it for a week, when some dumb bitch backed out of her parking spot with the wheels turned all the way to the left, she draged the corner of her bumper across both of his doors, took out all of the door mouldings and dented the doors, and scuffed the paint. She gets out of her SUV, looks around and then gets back inside her car, she was about to take off when another coworker tells her to stop, He told her he saw her hit the car and she was denying it, The owner came out and thats when she knew she got caught. 3-4k worth of damage for beeing stupid.

Not sure how it works for legal charges on private property, may depend on state, town, etc.

hit and run / leaving the scene of an accident is a felony. whether its on private property or not. its like having someone drive on your property, hit your car and drive away. same thing i'm guessing.

Guy who hit my car claims he didnt know he hit my car, but I had 3 witnesses telling me that they saw him jack the brakes, lean out the window and go "Oh shit" and then proceed to take off haha. The situation was handled so quickly that he was greeted at his next appointment by police (it was a contracting company iirc). I know the company told me he was getting bagged but I never heard anything past that.

had one of the cart machines at sams club go down the side of my lincoln like 3 weeks after i bought it. they finally paid me the $1300 estimate i got like 2 weeks later. just buffed it and lived with the dents.
