No.  I got sick of trying to sell it and am giving it to Blundell.

Funny thing is I have a Y8 drivetrain I mentioned to two people that's turned into a bidding war.  It's got some miles, I never saw it run, etc.  Guy calls up looking for a trans, can only find one at a yard in Charlotte for $600.  He asked if it whines or grinds, I told him I never saw the thing run but it's "supposed to be good."  He offers $250, I say yes, boom it's gone.  Now three people want the engine and the minimum bid is $300.  At this rate I'll make another bill off of the axles, brackets, misc shit left over from it.  I'll clear $600 for it, twice what I paid.  But I can't even get lowballers on the D16Y5 Type-R, even though I have over $600 in the longblock and it's fucking mint as well as tuned.

If you were closer I would have numerous buyers for your d16y5 build. We love all motor d series builds in California its about the only thing we can do here without being sent to the gas chamber if pulled over by the nazi smog police.

Regarding d16y8's I have been selling the longblocks for 600-700 since having one that still runs is rare.

Yah, all I can guess about the $600 Y8 trans at the yard in Charlotte is that the supplies are depleted with how the price of scrap went sky high when the chinese thought they needed all our metal.  I can tell you I'm going to make a point of flipping a few in the future.

You coming up I65? When you planning to stop to eat. I will meet ya somewhere close. Or hell drive over and we can go to Daves favorite mexican spot. No. Blue dash wont be there. Turbo is getting rebuilt for free by precision and when I get it back. . . Its going to Dave again for some loving.

My buddy just bought a d16y8 swapped 92 civic that couldnt pass smog for 600 bucks. Sold the d16y8 block for 800 bucks threw a d15b7 in the car and sold it for 2000. Its a great little flip. The Y series stuff is money especially those who just bought used 6th gen civcs without the knowledge that the clean looking Honda is ready to eat bearings the 2nd month they own the car.

Its sad the one company here that does scrap metal here is a total failure in business. Currently in I dont know how many lawsuits with about every person/business/state. I hate feeling like a douche bag throwing away broken down engine parts into my trash can so I store them in a bin on the side of my shop. I went in with couple hundred pounds hoping to just get enough to cover my gas and get a candy bar. They are now paying nothing for mixed metals not a damn cent. So last week I was ripping apart another parts car I just got in. I ended up just throwing the car doors over their fence in the middle of the night ;D

I am planning to stop at BIG BONE LICK around 8 am, you can meet me there, sweetie.[

We have to have 2-3 cars to entice a wrecker to come pick them up (in one trip) without presenting us with a bill for the difference.

While Dave will be making money working on cars and Matt asking a million questions. Ha ha I know this. Have fun ladies.

Yeah, people don't like 100% reliable power and mpg.  They only want mystery Y8 guaranteed to run long enough to spit rod bearings when inconvenient.  People are fucking stupid.  I'm quitting tuning and selling Y8 drivetrains, sir, in fact anyone attempting to do anything else in this world is a moron.

Battery's deal, charger is in NC.  Call blundell pls :)

Yeah ohio is a shithole, No offence caleb but i havent met anyone from Ohio that wasnt socialy akward or blatenly semi retarded.  Not syaing they all are just saying there seems to be a large concentration of stupid in that general area.  No one sped more than like 10 over in any part of Ohio i drove through.

Only nice thing was rollin at like a 70 Speed limit and seeing dipshits on bikes doing like 80 with no helmet through mountains.  there are little rocks flying everywhere adn these dipshits are just rolling around takin em to the face.  Sorta warms my heart to know Natural selection is still in full effect at times.  Crusin around is one thing without a helmet but shit at 80 without one you deserve to pull a busey.

Depends on what part of Ohio you're in.  All of the coolness in Ohio is located along I-75 in south west Ohio. Columbus is ok, but the rest of ohio sucks.

Nope, I'm always running to Cbus for tranny rebuids, like tonight.

Might I mention a tranny build of mine took first at Peru IN on the SCCA National Tour?

Next step is to sweep the podium. SCCA, any class, any race, I've already been 2 of 3.

I might get two class wins at Toledo Pro Solo, will wait for the results and reports in a few weeks.

Won FSP @ Peru due to weather issues, but a win is a win.

WHO GIVES A SHIT about the trans build, its all driver skill, and alot of SCCA peeps dont all run rebuilt slush boxes. Be like me saying, Not to mention a B16 S4C trans I rebuilt made a quick pass. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME I MADE THE PASS BETTER. Bullshit

Nope, you fail.

I mentioned I wanna sweep the podium, I had 10 more people emailing me wanting to be the racers that do that. I have that name.

Next step is Spec Miata, aka the bumpercar class.

It is about driver skill..............can you back out of a shop without clipping another car? Did your blue dash blind you?

37 hours without sleep, you REALLY don't wanna take me on right now. I've built something, something that is rock solid.

I guess you wish you had a "Phantom Slip LSD" in your blue dashboard HB, wanna guess who was the ONLY person to stand up to the lawsuit, I did.

Please don't trival me with the wimpy BS, I've smacked around bitches like JD before, they ask for more.
