One of our local shops threw an event up at Brainerd International Raceway this weekend. My former best was an 11.0 @ 133. Friday I managed to run a new personal best of 10.93 @ 137!! Timeslip and vid below, I'm on the right.
Halon going 10.93 @ 137mph (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ix1aM5lyeuU#lq-lq2-hq-vhq)

Still some room for improvement on my 60' time. If I can get that down to 1.6, that should help put me deeper into the 10's. This is still on some Sumitomo HTR Z3's, and some crappy rear camber that can't be helping me.
My next pass I tried to launch a little harder to get that 60' time down and ended up with this. It is a DSM after all...

Need to be rocking that metro back there. Mid engine swap FTW
-
It's a Colt :P
-
Even better, do 4G63 swap.
-
Nice work :noel: Congrats on getting there. Now hurry up and launch that thing.

Yeah, a local guy with a burly DSM has the same problem - axles or driveshaft or four bolt. He just went with a 9", kind of overkill for the amount of power if you ask me, but his family has some money.
You, sir, should strongly consider picking up a $100 8.8" rear end and going from there. :)

you shouldnt be break those axles that easy.
probably was on its way out. get some hoosier QTP's on that slut and do some 10.30's
-
Link to your setup again.

Nice times

congrats man

I'm still on the stock WEAK 3-bolt rear setup, which are known for breaking.
Someday I'll consider upgrading to the stronger 4-bolt rear end setup. But for now, I'll just continue to let er buck.

3 bolts aint that weak. i just build a turbo setup for a guys evo who had a talon with a stock 3 bolt, stock drivetrain, stock axles. car went 10.01@139 1.31 60'.

OK you're the expert.

Congrats.

vids?

congrats man 10's ain't easy. Keep on the lookout for a four bolt and your drivetrain issues in the rear will probably be come a thing of the past. I'm sure the LSD in the four bolt could probably help as well.

im just saying, you had a how many mile axle fail. DSM tards always chalk it up to parts being weak. same kind of retards who say you cant use stock honda axles to go 9's

vids?
One of the guys finally uploaded the video. I added it to the first post just now.
Another person got a video from behind, right at the starting line, but it may be awhile until that vid gets put up.

Your car is a beast. I seen it in person at rockfalls.
