Title: obd0-obd1 ef
Post by: allmotahhh on July 24, 2009, 10:54:27 AM
im soo f n lost right now. spent hours of looking **** up and now i have two cars that wont start.

1. 90 crx dx b16a that was obd1 already
2. 91 crx si with a b18a1

well im swaping the engines around cause the only reason i bought the 90 was for the b16. well i got the swaps in the cars already and now im doing the wiring.

the 91 has spark but no fuel to the injectors. im running high impendence injectors so i took out the resistor box and spliced the wires together. got the o2 and vtec wired up but not hooked up yet.

the 90 has no spark and no fuel. changing this car back to obd0. sounds simple enough. just take out the wires for the o2 and put the single wire 02 back, leave the extra wires for the mpfi, repin plug for resistor box, took out the pins for the dizzy one by one to make sure i didnt get anything mixed up.

am i missing something? well i must be but if you have some suggestions let me know in the mean time im back to looking up diagrams.

Spark but no fuel = fuel problem.  Why go through a wiring ordeal in order to fix a simple problem?

does the fuel pump primer when you turn the key? If not check the fucking fuse, I think its #15 or something, happened to me last year, either had no spark, or no fuel.

Fixed the wiring for the distributor shocked my hand (we have spark), then for the fuel issue found out it was the stupid fuse. i checked the wiring, checked each injector, even took the fuel pump out. and tested it, it worked, the stupid fuse had burned out. Poped a new one in and the bitch started up like a champ.

Unless you have rats chewing up your wires, its always something  small, like a blown fuse, or a fucked up clip somewhere. Or you wired something up wrong.

Voltage @ the injector, ground path to the ECU pins A1, A2, A3, and A5 for injectors 1 through 4 respectively.

hes getting 12v from both sides of the injectors

Then the injectors aren't wired to pins A1, A2, A3, A5.

buk, fuck this faggot friend of yours.  His car does not run because he is stupid.  I do not care because it has nothing to do with you eventually becoming turbocharged.  So, do not link me to one of these threads ever again unless it's YOUR car.

ive tried so many different things so far. but adam said that it might be the cps so imma try that. hopefully this works. cross fingers.

There is no CPS on a Honda.  That's a DSM failure term, and DSM + Adam = Lofton's faggotry.

No wonder your shit doesn't run.

I really doubt the distributor is your problem.  Seeing the pictures in this thread for the first time, it's pretty obvious what the problem is.

No love for random twisted together wires?

Twisted together wire is too real for realhomemadeturbo.  This guy is making all of us look bad with his realness.

And here I thought it was his all motor tag that was doing it.  ::)

No, I already stated it was because he's not a RHMTer.

Here, look at his post history and see for yourself; he's not one of us and has no interest in being one of us: http://www.realhomemadeturbo.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=276efca1d41e6353a647d9f2c4d08bd3&action=profile;u=1173;sa=showPosts (http://www.realhomemadeturbo.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=276efca1d41e6353a647d9f2c4d08bd3&action=profile;u=1173;sa=showPosts)
