Nope customer bought the tranny, thought he got a EX, for $1000 shipped. Has had it for some time, started grinding third, I offered to go thru the tranny cheaply.

Magnets were missing
CS nut wasn't staked in place
MS thrust washer was upside down
Diff bearings were on backwards
CS oil port blocked with debris from before first rebuild
Enough black sealant on the case to seal up a SBC valve cover.

shit that's a lot of money for a ex tranny. what tranny was it?

I call BS on this one, black sealant has never sealed anything, let alone a sbc valve cover.  :mexi:
