Ok so I was installing Windows 7 on someones computer for them. Every time on bootup it says "bootmgr missing". I have reinstalled Win 7 three times now, with each one always saying the same. I have the hard drive plugged into another computer, and can see the system files were installed. The different installations even came from different sources just to make sure it wasn't a bad copy of 7. Any ideas?

Don't have the disk. I ran it from one hard drive and installed to another which I have done several times.

Well, whatever, boot from whatever you installed it from.

Doesn't work. I had to suck it up and get a DVD. I never had a problem with the Beta builds. Just the RC and retail shit. Oh well, problem fixed.
