Each Labor Day weekend, NHRA racers and fans descend on O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis for the biggest, oldest, richest, and most prestigious drag race in the world. The fabled strip is regarded by many as one of the smoothest on the circuit. They say that no career is truly complete without a win at drag racing’s grandest event. The event also hosts the Ringers Gloves Pro Bike Battle, the bonus event for Pro Stock Motorcycle racers, and is the last event in the Countdown to 10.

Not sure if it's the same event, but the NHRA Mac Tools U.S. Nationals drag race from Indianapolis is scheduled for Sunday at 11:30am and 5:00pm on ESPN2.
this is it.
Steve, I have been to the races before, but it was about 10 years or so since the last time I went. Im pumped.
i have a clutch plate from force's funny car
My brother has a con rod from the forces car. 2 years ago when they went, they were walking through the pits and JF just grabbed my bro and took him into the trailer and showed him around. Pretty cool, huh!

Yeah. It's flat, hot, and will just about pull a fully laced boot off of your foot when you're walking on it.
I have video of Goforth when he snuck onto their circle track in a Scion tC, tiresmoke coming off the front right tire every time he exits a turn.

How is the rain today??????
I was gonna go....but not standing out in the rain.

rain fucking sucked. it started around 11 and we stuck it out until about 2. at 2 we left. -we were told that if you go left out of the track and go down about a mile or so, the race plex with a bunch of team garages is down that way. Sure as shit, there are a ton of teams who have garages down there.
I am working on what few pics I took now.
