Title: question about holset block off

if i blocked half of my exhaust housing off with a peice of flat steel between the manifold and the turbo it should help spool but would there be any adverse effects?

of course there would be.. if you can't spool the turbo get another or look for exhaust leaks.

i'm just wondering since it takes so long to spool the hx35 what kind of power would i be robbed and what would the difference of spool up time would i get? I know this has been covered or discussed before but i can't find the thread. Thanks for the help in advance
