What tittle say, im lokoing for making next month a exhaust header for FN2 R k20 engine , like toda racing one.

but i was thinking about size of piping, since header should be used for supercharged application, so not sure if size of piping im thinking in use for make the header would be biggest..
this is sizes i think shuold be good for supercharger K20
Toda Racing - WR ;D
45mm - 2" (50mm)
50mm - 2.25" (57mm)
60mm - 2.5" (63mm)
what do you think?

These guys stuff always worked well on supercharged applications. Im not sure if they are still in business making headers from what i was told they are now just doing basic exhaust work at their shop but Im sure they still build headers here and there.

Just make it big, don't worry about all the stupid step downs and stuff. It's got a blower, just get the air OUT.

Not sure where you got your conversion from, but 45mm is 1.77", not 2".
I'd go with 1.7" primaries and 2" secondaries with a 2.3" collector to a 2.5"->3" piping.

i didnt any conversion really.
i just said toda racing size and the sizes im thinking in using.
toda racing uses 45mm for primaries, im looking for 2" (50.8mm) and so.

KAMIKAZE HEADERS
Over the past 15 years Kamikaze's Research & Development department has been dedicated to revolutionizing the racing industry. Prior to Kamikaze's 4 into 1, 1 3/4" two piece header, there were only two options in the market. A 4 into 1 full length header and a tri-y, 4-2-1. The mistake of the 4 into 1 full length header is that the primary tubes are 1 1/2" 16 gauge diameter in size and the over all length is approximately 30". With this design you have less torque, mediocre on mid range and weak on top end. Due to the diameter of the primary tubes are too small and too long in overall length. Further, installation is extremely difficult and you need to relocate the 02 sensors.
A Tri-y 4-2-1 header did help in the early 80’s but when cars began to have more horsepower and torque. The Tri-y configuration were found useless and out dated for today's compact cars. A Tri-y header was never designed to be a performance header. It was originally designed for a truck. That needed the torque for towing. Which also fails miserably at top end. You never see a tri-y header on a dragster or any professional racing vehicle.
You can truly say that Kamikaze stands alone, this is not another clone!
Kamikaze has used the latest technology available to construct a true racing performance header. Kamikaze has constructed a 4 into 1 header that fits stock location. Kamikaze utilizes, 3/8" laser cut flanges, 1 3/4" 14 gauge, mandrel bent primary header tubes that are engineered at just the right length to give you a great response in torque. Our 2 1/2" collector, is designed with the primary tubes joining as they transition into the collector to give more precise management throughout the mid range, The 02 sensors are located at the proper location to read off all cylinders, based on OEM style. personally, i think 2" might be a bit on the big side, but i don't know much about s/c exhaust setups. i'd probably go with 1.875" if you can find the bends, then 2.25" secondaries and a 2.75" out.

i readed that already Aaron. i was looking for make a toda racing style because i was looking headers availables for FN2 Type-R EDM car and toda is the best i think, today came another toda racing header for a customer and another toda racing stuff too , i¡d like to get better gains than toda racing and that customer can use it for supercharger applitationand make good power with it too, that's why i was looking for use bigger sizes..
btw ill use your flanges for this manifold. :)

walter is clueless. The only 10 sec powered jackson supercharger car I know of ran the header I posted

If you are assuming that their product is already good and close to what you want - just jumping up one size may be sufficient. Since their runners are 14 gauge (.083 wall) = 1.584 ID.. If you went with 16 gauge 1.875", (1.745 ID) you are effectively .161 larger already.
So maybe 1.875 -> 2.125 -> 2.50".

Walter, I've spent some time chilling at Rinehart Racing, who makes $1500+ sets of headers for domestics. The blower cars get larger everything, starting with the primaries and all the way back to the collector.
For a K-series, with their mutant headflow, I'd start with the 2" primaries and work toward a 2.75" to 3" collector.

As JD said, use "oversized" primaries, shorter rather than longer, and a everything else a bit bigger. 1.75" is considered good for a 1.8L SC'd motor, so 2" is probably the best idea. A 4-1 collector will help move the powerband higher, which is ideal since the blower's inefficiency drops torque the higher you rev. You really won't need extra torque below 5k anyways, unless the dumbass designer is using an M45 on a k24...
The other main aspect behind shorter, wider piping is because you have so much more scavenging. There is practically zero backpressure like a turbo motor has, so the SC pushes your remnant exhaust out like nobody's business.
