Title: My D-series collection gets bigger
Post by: Towdogg on March 11, 2009, 10:57:07 PM: Today I was GIVEN 1 D15b7 1 D16y7 and 1 D15b2

I love when people do B swaps and give me their old motor for free

Oh ya I was also given a cable DX tranny

Now I have
2 D15b2s
1 D16y7
4 D15b7s
2 D16a6s
1 D16z6

Tranny pile gets bigger too
2 DX cable
2 SI cable
4 DX hydro
1 EX hydro
1 EX auto tranny (Saving for that day)
I will keep getting them as long as they are free

Yeah same in my area I usually get the D-series engine donated to me b/c some kid wants a B-series or h-series.
Then they blow up there motors run out of money to fix their B-motors and comes back to me and buys a d-series w/ trany for $500 to $800 then a year later they turn around and give the d's back for another b-series or h-series alover aqgain. ;D

I have: 3 d16z6 complete motors

2 d15b8s longblocks

1 d15b7s longblock

1 d15b7 cyl. head

1 d16y8 cyl head

and if that is not all I also have a A20a3 longblock, h23a longblock, and a b16 bottom end.

But I only have one left from an '94 EX coupe.

I have a guy who runs a used honda/acura dealership that just throws d-series engines away or gives them to me.

I'm going pick-up a trany this weekend from him.

I have to get them all in one spot first.. Some are in my basement some are at work and I have a few at the garage that I rent.

I want to do a D-series all motor set up! Then put 10 pounds on that..... :yes:

my coupe is a work in progress with a dent almost as big as the entire car, a gay ass carbon fiber hood, 3 different types of rim's, and a motor with nothin done to it. an intro post right now would be an entire waste of time but in a couple weeks i will when i get my turbo in :yes:
