Well I really haven't done anything in the last forever, so last night I took 2hrs out of my busy couch sitting schedule and drank 3 beers (the beers were just MGD in a bottle, so I didn't bother taking pics) and tacked this together. If I think about it I will take some pics as I finish it up, but it will be completely tacked together and fitted this evening.
I would have done the connector pieces last night, but I don't have a chop saw at home, and don't trust myself to cut straight with an angle grinder. With any luck this will be on the dyno on Saturday in Red Deer.
As you will be able to see, I still have to square the end of the collector. It is a completely divided setup. There will be an external gate still to be added tonight.

It is all tacked now, but I was too lazy to find the camera, so I will take pics on Saturday when it is done.
The head will crack before a mild steel sch 40 pipe splog will.
On another note, I make horrific plasma cuts after 7 beers, I have lots of hrs on the die grinder tonight. :-[

Other then drilling and taping an egt probe, it is done and will be installed tomorrow. Next week it will be all pulled back apart, another 5 egt ports and 2 drive pressure ports will be drilled and tapped, and an external gate will added. Then when I get back from Ecuador in Oct. I will begin building 2 more. One with the same T3 flange but with sch 40 1.25" runners, and one the same but with a T4 flange. These will all be extensively data logged against a stock 24v manifold, and against a commercial available after market T3 flanged ATS manifold.
At the end of the day 4 years since doing fab on a daily basis sure shows... :-[

Trick question they all have 7 blade compressors and the hx's have 12cm^2 turbine housings but one is vgt :-*

i have the same big turbo as you do the one on the right, idk wtf id ever use it for, kind of looks inefficient for a gas motor... i want that dam garret, what are the specs nog

The big turbo on the right is a Holset HT-60, with any luck it will be on Trevor72's cleavland over the winter.
The one on the left is a GT-4294, it has a 1.32 T6 exhaust side.

They are easy to find as they came on a ton of detroit diesels.

ya no shit, actualy my buddys that i put a 8pt cage in i will also have to post has 617whp 347 stroker with a paxton supercharger at 14psi. hes waiting for it to brake but nothing yet haha he rapes the fuck out of it too...
ya i got a gt40 off a detroit. my buddys running it on his rotary :-X

One day the "bench" will run again, and I can build a proper work area where it is...
The worst part about the "bench" is that it leans, and I couldn't find bolts to fasten down the flange on the head while I welded it, so it was a lot slower then I wanted.
Did those drawings I re-sent you open this time?

Here it is on the truck, twins installed. Got it started up today, but didn't make it to the dyno event in Red Deer, we fought an oil leak off the primary all morning. The truck is supposed to attend another dyno event in Oct. While I am away.

The turbo's used in this setup are a GT3788R T3 (with an internal gate, that we will be replacing for an external one) Over an S474 T6.
The owner is shooting for 700whp+ on #2. He made 680, on a slightly smaller slightly less efficient setup.

Nope it was a T3 flange. He just wanted to try something else. The owner has a stock 24v mani, and an ats mani. I think the biggest reason is that we will be adding an external gate to this, and he really didn't like the idea of that spacer deal that E.D does, especially not for $1000.

Using it on his Mustang was shot down, and it's been collecting dust for over a year. I think he understands it's not worth much (in a gas application) but IDK how reasonable he'll be about selling it.
The fucker weighs a shit ton, it might be cheaper to drive your truck down to pick it up. :-X

Yup, put the rod through the block of the honda, and needed something ASAP. I am probably going to be a dealer for Mark, but we will see how things go. Got the TDI wagon for the extra space, and because I can tow the dirt bikes with it.
