Thoughts? Bs? How does a 59300 make less power than a stock cam on 8psi? JD has me wondering about Bisi now...
-
It's probably some shitty turbo, and/or a dying motor. Not even a turbo f22 redlines that low.
I've asked him various times what turbo setup that motor had, never got any replies.
-
I am a quasi Bisi nutswinger, but that just doesn't seem to add up.
:?:

Lol at those dyno graphs..... :?:

That's a wierd company.

What are you confused about? That thread, and your own power of observation, pretty much said it all in the first post.
-
Bisi is notorious for not letting the truth out
The company who made him who he is was a company that built stroker MOTORS RS MACHINES. His motor was featured in I believe turbo mag for a stroker 2.0 sohc d series. It was an article on the big bore/stroke all motor cars maybe 8-9 years ago.
He didnt build the motors back then nor did any port work. Old guy name Mike did all of it at rs machines.
Oh yeah old man Hickman and myself saw 2 stroker d series cranks in Rs machines. Unless other people were doign crazy all motor stroker d builds Im 99 percent sure that was bisi's stuff
He then claims the motor was a destroked 1.5 :'(
Also the f22a he claimed was a destroked motor down to a 1.8 maybe 6 years ago. He had f18 fighter stickers all over the car.
Take your own conclusion. The guy is obviously talented but a class A bull shit artist
-
how/why do you destroke a 1.5?
-
how/why do you destroke a 1.5?
you dont.
what sounds cooler. 500 hp on a sub 1.5l motor or 500 hp on a 2.0l motor?
how better to promote your shit then make it look so much better then the competition. why anyone would believe without a question a company who tests thier own stuff versus a competitor is beyond me. ill only believe it if a seperate unbiased party tests them.

Talking to Danz at the track last week said he wasnt impressed with the Bizi cam in his D, and a local company re-grind made more power for a lot less $$
-
The destorker D15 used a D16 crank cut down and weld for 80mm stroke by Lopez Crankshaft
The F22 has a F18 crank, but is sleeved out so it is still a 2.2L
Wind them up tight with a small stroke.......
-
Wind them up tight, with a long stroke....
The cylinder head still fails, it's not a bottom end problem.

You should see some of the retarded fucking posts on HT one of his employees makes... I can believe bisi lets him sport him logo as an avitar blaring that hes an employee... Ive had to set him straight more than once over there and the last time actually pontificated that I would have thought hed know better than to mis inform as he was.
Belive it was the FI and Accord forums... Jesus the Accord forum makes me weep over there...
Guys a fucking moron though.

F22Ax Heads have shitloads of POTENTIAL.... Huge oorts and good geometry. Thats the head that BISI does jock. I agree. Ill dig up specs of a friends that was worked over... I cant remember the numbers offhand but they were rediculous. He runs a F to H22 manifold adapter and S2 manifold on it
Car makes JUST about 300WHP. Out of an F N/A.
LocaLLY
EDIT: found it flowed 348cfm at .500
Its Matt Poons motor in Matt Hurleburts REX

No, I just pulled them out of thin fucking air moron....

Its making more now

oh bisi??? who cares...

Which head is a better starting point... B20 or F22? Which has more potential?
I love LS based heads since they are basically free and just as good as B16/GSR to 8K, if you swap in the B20A3/5 intake valves. That being said, I don't know jack shit about F-heads, but if it's the rod-mounted rocker arm style head then it's definitely superior as the ports are bigger and the rocker arms won't sling off at high rpms.
Since I'm a boost junky, which is all about bottom end (until you max out a port a la D16 or max out a cam a la early LS), I'll never own an F/H motor unless I run into some money and want to build a NA motor. I really don't like the larger bottom oiller Hondas. Some guys have EXCELLENT results out of them, but there is a higher failure rate especially with the earlier 50mm main motors.

i used to be on the Bisi bandwagon, being a D series guy, it was nice to have someone with a name doing the things i knew were possible but, lately i am really starting to doubt him at least in boosted stuff.
i have been PMing back and forth with a guy on another forum that had a Bisi 2.4 cam in a y8. he made 299whp @19psi with a turbonetics 60-1.
i have made 300+ with a stock cam and smaller turbo on less boost.
he was happy with the car, but when i started talking to him, i told him that his numbers were pretty low considering his setup so he started looking into it. he kept going to the dyno and they never could get any more out of it. then it started getting what sounds like spark blowout when in boost. he pulls the valve cover and the cam lobes have been almost completely ground off and the rockers are trash as well.
between that and these retards Bisi is putting on forums and calling them employees, i am getting a good bit less than impressed.
-
I'd be open to using a Bisi SOHC grind in a NA application, but yeah the turbo stuff is apparently garbage. Which is wierd, with how responsive Honda engines are to using any mild to not so mild cam profile in a boosted application.

For all of you guys Bisi is a racer. That doesnt make people into smart business owners. His success has been people around him not himself.
There is very little truth in what Bisi says.
Something that seems to be lost in translation is simple just because you have a fast car doesnt mean you are passing down that technology to your customers.
Bisi's motors have always made power but how many others running his products have done so in the same manner.
People like JG have had 100's of cars run extremely fast light years ahead of people like Bisi but again JG is a horrible run business that unless your a local who is cool with them you will pull your hair out regarding getting service.
I dont go on other forums but if Bisi is trying to do the Forum game he again is lost in his Business approach. Web forums have never been that profitable unless you spend 7 days a week battling personal attacks etc. The larger forums do not produce sales they produce headaches and hate.
Labor Labor Labor is what pays the bills not selling performance parts.
My conclusion Bisi sucks at business. You want to get a reground cam from bisi all he does is send it to web cams. Bisi sure as hell doesnt have machining equipment thats for sure. he looks to clean cut to be getting his hands dirty day in and day out.
Also Bisi has solely focused on non vtec sohc all motor builds. Why people think he knows everything else is beyond me.
The guy spent 10 years shitting on dohc vtec motors for being piles of garbage.
