He could wear a different pair of shoes and wear shorts instead of pants while driving and save more weight. Wow

i know most will say it is stupid. but..... if you have a cnc/lathe/mill/etc... why not do fun and random shit just to do it. i would never pay to have this done.

but i will tell you you can take a little herel little there from a shit load of places and come up with a ton of weight gone.

fucking luggage cost almost as much at airfare now.
buddy of mine just paid $600 round trip from lax to hawaii. his 2 surfboards were $200 each way.
+ $50 for his second bag of luggage.
umm, yea...  not the average suitcase

Meh, if you have a mill then its only a couple minutes of work.  Taking pictures of it and posting on the internet as an accomplishment...that's another thing.

c-c-c-c-c-combo breakerrrrr

If you look at the other pics, he saved a whopping 92 grams with this modification.

yeah but he's 2 grams faster. you know how much work he would have to do to run that 2 grams off.

he'd probably have to like spit in a cup or something super hard like that.

take a piss before driving, instant weight reduction

I could see doing this to a race car maybe, but that's a little ridiculous. 92 grams...

this is almost as bad as when the nsxR got a mesh shifter boot to save weight . . .

its like taking a hole punch to your air filter.
weight reduction plus if its hanging off the mirror that makes better visibility. (see through air freshener)

I was thinking he'd just stick a needle in his arm and bleed off a few pints before a race. That's 2-4 pounds he could save, with practically zero effort, up to 7 if he doesn't mind dizziness, nausia, tunnel vision, and...risk of death. :P
