Title: can i be scammed with paypal or a money order?

I'm selling a turbo through craigslist and a buyer contacted me asking if I can ship to texas. He said he can pay with paypal or a money order. I think there could be money order scams but how about paypal, or am I mistaken

i shipped my gt3076r to some guy in florida that was in the states on school related business that was from some place in europe. He paid paypal and i sat on the money for 10 days. then shipped the turbo out. idk how i didn't get scammed but it worked out fine.

Money order seems safest. You can find out the day you have it whether it's real or not, and you'll be paid.
On the other hand, he could try some trickery with the paypal by filing a claim, etc...


That reminds me of when ol' shitbag scammed me for $115 when I "bought" a shotgun from him. He never sent it, I filed a claim, won, and his bank account was empty. I think I'll go harrass his wife on myspace now. k bye.

once he sends paypal payment, immediately deposit it into your account and withdraw it. then send the goods

Google search will show about 25 million scams via paypal




I print my own money orders and it works great

Nigerians are famous for sending fake money orders.  Discuss with your bank, make sure the funds have transferred in a legit fashion before coming off your shit.
