Title: What cellphone to get.
Post by: 92CXyD on October 13, 2009, 10:14:30 PM: Ok I was told I'm up for an upgrade from Alltel.

I have been using a SAmsung chocolate colored flip phone for 3 years.

So I've thought about a Blackberry but my wife's was BB Pearl the battery was junk from day one and it I hate it.

I see a lot of Storm users out there. Do they have application like the I-phone's Gtech type accelerometer.

I do not want an I-phone.

I've seen a Kyocera Strobe as a good candidate b/c it's a 3g phone.

I want net access.

So any suggestions would be great. And what plan info should look for so I don't get ripped off.

Get a curve. They are dirt cheap and easily replaced if broken. I love mine.

Its a phone, get one that does what you need, extra shit is nice but it comes at a price. Right now I'm still payin the wifes phone, 200 a month for service on 2 lines. Will be about 100 a month when I drop her ass.

Ok Tour, and Nokia N900 any others to consider and what about alltel plan/perk should I go for?

I have a total of 5 phones in my household my wife has a "smart"phone plan and the rest of the household just unlimited texting and 2000 min/mo for about 225 to 250 a month.

Is there a better alltel plan for me and and family?
