Title: Hostess, what is your favorite
Post by: salesmonkey on October 15, 2009, 01:37:26 PM: well i just spent na mikes weekly allowance on donuts and just curious to see what you guys prefer. i like the razberry filled donuts, ho ho's, and the pies the most.
i actually never go out and buy hostess, but the kid from work gets them from his dad and then hooks up people for a few bucks. so i figured why not. oh i also the strawberry roll cakes are pretty good but didnt get any in this.

not a fan of buying them but there decent for a snack when lazy. everyonce in awhile ill pick up some bakery donuts from the safeways or walmart if im already there. but i figured i havent had enough surgar lately so im going to overdose for the next couple weeks. and certain packaged donuts dont taste good and you can never replace a freshly made batch of doughnuts

The farm market here makes apple cider donuts with crystalized syrup on them. They are probably the best donuts I've ever eaten. Krispy Kreme is just so completely overrated after eating one of those. They are sweet, but they have texture and character as well.

I like Krispy Kreme plain cake doughnuts, and sometimes if you bribe one of the old ladys you can get the glazed without more than a tiny drizzle of glaze, in which case they're pretty good.
