Title: intake manifold porting/swap
Post by: oinesra on November 05, 2009, 10:13:22 PM
I decided that spending an hour to take off the turbo/ intake manifold was to long. So I wanted to switch from the n/a six port, to the turbo four port intake manifold. So i had to port the shit to fit. I dont have a compressor, so i had to use a drill with a drill-saw bit.

Turbo left, n/a right 5 extra inches of clearance  :o

Turbo gasket on top. Have to woller out the turbo manifold to the size of the n/a manifold

Drill saw cuts through aluminum like butter.

Had to fill in some casting voids with jb weld.

Came out good enough without a die grinder or dremel.

No kidding. In the time he spent taking the pics and posting this thread he could have ported it better.
