Title: Vacuum Issue??? NSFW!!!
Post by: FreshDA9 on November 07, 2009, 01:57:01 PM
Ok just started up a map with BRE in a PR3 ecu. the problem is at idle it is sitting at 16-14 inch vacuum. i can not get it to sit in 23 or 21in.v... Also the distributor is all the way retarded if we set it to 16 degrees it will sit in 14-13in.v...

We have checked timing its on. We changed map sensors to a know working 1 nothing. changed ignition timing in the map still nothing??

The car is a 91 crx PR3 ecu with a B16a. stock map sensor, tps, also a distributor king dizzy. when he had this motor in his integra it would idle at about 37-35Kpa in ectune?

I tried to attach the maps but said i exceeded limit every time.

And for your effort i give you some Porn for my gratitude.......

compression test to see if all cylinders are good?  could have a compression problem causing the low vacuum.

Really do you by chance know why? i got the map and a couple logs but RHMT keeps saying im exceeding the upload limit even if i try to upload just 1 that is way below the limit.

Runs fine = runs fine.  What are you overlooking?

Just seems to be running to low of vacuum at idle. thats what caught my attention.  that and the starting issue but that should be an easy fix.

Nope, low "vacuum" according to datalogs and cold start issues - mostly when in the 90-140 degree range after start - are what I experienced.
