found this today
thought the road race/SCCA guys would like them
the idea of lowering the car while saving weight and ride quality sounds great
also baller status is a bonus

i remember those back from like '99... never seen anone use them...
-
not sure i would trust honda parts from a company website that has a chevy dale eirnhardt speedo in the background

ground contols and konis with stock trailing arms/spindles have been proven time and time again.
-
How much are they?
-
Those trailing arms make me giggle.
BTW, drop spindles on a SALA suspension tend increase the scrub radius. I'll let you decide if that is a good or bad thing.
-
kids who "dump" there civic will be on this like flies on shit. O0

+ extended top hats
- not needed since the fastest cars are at most 1/2" lower than stock.

While the topic on suspension is up... Anyone have any information on stock civic vs integra suspension? I've done some googling and HT searching. Consensus so far is that integra springs on my 95 civic hatch will probably give it a lift. If it wouldn't be A LOT, I would kind of want it-- I do a fair bit of driving on dirt roads to get to trail heads and such so a little more clearance wouldn't hurt, but at the same time, I want a stiffer, better handling ride. I'm ASSuming integra spring rates are higher... are they taller too? Is there any difference in the shock valving/performance? I don't necessarily want to lift my car, but I don't want to drop it very much if at all below stock.
The other route I've considered (i'm poor remember) is egay adjustable coilovers and better shocks, but decent shocks are $$$. So I dunno. I'd almost rather stay the stock route. What you say rHMT

Integra spring rates are significantly higher than Civic spring rates. No idea on the spring height difference, but I would imagine that it is pretty small.
If you are really strapped for cash, then you would be better off with a stock LS DC suspension in good condition. Dunno how you are gonna manage that one though.
The cheap coil over sleeves usually have some pretty high(compared to stock) spring rates, so you will need dampers to match.

5" from frame rail to the ground.
1-3-2 from Saturdays ARRC race, the red teg (Hoppe) ended up getting around the Miata

Ehhh I was thinking more along the lines of the people that slam their daily drivers and blow shock seals, not particularly the fastest or even cars people track. Just since the topic was 1.5" drop spindles and all...
Then if these are useless ricer parts, why are we discussing them in a performance forum?
-
Ricers buy performance parts Mr. Jewsef Dreyfus.
Rarely, and then only by accident.
