Some friends and I went and did some mild, all day wheeling saturday. Some power lines, some creeks, a little mud, and some rocks. We are still flooded from all the rain from the hurricane that blew up here last week. Biggest creek was close to 5 ft deep

looks like a good time

I really like the whole 4x4 scene, and Jeeps hold a steady place in my mind for reliability, but I find im an adrenaline junky and slowly crawling up a mountain doesnt do it for me. Mud-racing on the other hand...
Regardless, all those vehicles are beautiful.
-
Where u guys go exactly?
-
just some local trails around town, no park. We have a park here, but they close every other weekend
-
You don't have any rocks where you live?
-
maintenance trails under power lines are fun. We took my friend's 2003 Pilot through some of those. The thing isn't great offroad, but its still fun. Gonna take my girl's highlander in the mud to see how quickly it gets stuck one of these weekends.
-
Ok let me try this again, in which state do you live?
-
damn that looks fun. this thread makes me wish i still had my old jeep. maybe one day...
-
You don't have any rocks where you live?
yea, but the best place to go is now off limits. some guy bought the land that the entrance is on, and we are too lazy to chainsaw a new entrance 1/4 mile long.
Ok let me try this again, in which state do you live?
North Alabama, Gadsden to be specific

Well yeah, but still fun. I've taken my fucking accord into the gravel, and it was a blast. Dont always need good trails. Covering shit with mud is fun. Bombing across a field with a suburbia SUV and having a perfectly smooth ride and looking at your friends ranger bouncing all over the place is also fun.
-
that rubicon is nice!!
lol which one? the big black one, or the smaller silver one?

they are very nice trail rigs. great perfomance, and very good street manners. hell the big black one rides like a cadillac
-
That was the only thing this thread was missing, rig stacking... And there it is.

shit, I never noticed the fucking hawk.....
-
As fun as that looks, isnt it more expensive to go slow through mud than fast on a drag strip?
-
depends how fast, and how much mud
-
eh, kinda, we try to stay out of deep mud, just makes a mess, and really takes no skill

Damn man, I'm at the bar/restaurant literally everyday. And the legal sundays....doesn't apply to Etowah county. We're a dry sunday county...which is gay, but I always have beer in the fridge man. Next time you get this way, definitely let me know, and we'll grab a cold one or twelve
