Title: Anyone try these CDM conversion harnesses?
Post by: HiProfile on November 18, 2009, 01:50:10 AM
I have a friend that wants to convert her '00 Prelude to OBD1 (several reasons). We just refinished the head due to it overheating a dozen times (!), so she isn't inclinded to spend buku dollars. She also won't get junk if people have had problems with them.

BTW I'll try for some boobie pics, but you wouldn't believe how much she can drink - despite being 110lb soaking wet...

eBay cheapie works fine, as long as you AVOID the ones whose OBD1 plugs are black.  Those things were made incorrectly and don't fit right.

Keep in mind that '97+ Prelude have an alien style CKP sensor in the oil pump and not the distributor.  You need a '96 or earlier distributor and to wire the CKP from the plug at the crank pulley back to the distributor.

Is she Scotch-Irish?  My wife (105lbs) can drink me under the table with ease.

I won't see her for a few days. I think she's irish/german like me. My grampa has some great stories about bar fighting, then driving home drunk as hell. Most are 3rd person, since he heard abotu them the next day.

If she has to monkey with another dizzy, I doubt this will ever happen. Is it just the signal that's fucked up from that sensor?

It's like trying to run an OBD0 distributor on an OBD1 ECU.
