Trying not to get too far off topic, but how much would you guys estimate a kid costs on an annual basis?  I'm trying to work out a budget to see if I can even afford a kid, but have absolutely no idea what they really cost.  Google gave shitty results with huge ranges of figures.

are you talking about actually giving birth to the kid, or the day to day costs? I think our total bill, after the false alarm was around like $12g's. That was drugs, stays, food, whole nine yards.

Day to day costs...the kid got expensive real quick. My wife was breast feeding for awhile until she went into the hospital for her gull bladder and lost her milk supply. Since then it has gotten a lot more expensive. We buy our formula in bulk, which saves us money in the long run. By bulk, I mean like a can of formula that normally costs like $24 I think we pay like $18 a can when we buy like 6 or 8 of them at a time, online. Diapers, jesus. Those things are expensive too. You can pretty much go to walmart and figure out the costs of things, and then over estimate that by a long shot. Formula, bottles, bottle liners, nipples, pasifiers, just continues to keep on going. Clothes too. My kid has grown super fast and some things she has only worn one or two times. Its all worth it, you just gotta be ready for it.

This is Evan and Avery, we were in the NCCU for a week with Avery. The cost was in the 35k range, after insurance I think we only payed in the $1300 range total.

I dont have any pics online anymore, but Ive got 2 kids.

My daughter Eleanor (5) and son Francis (>1).

Eleanor is pretty cool. ... she knows how to operate the engine hoise and can indentify almost every part of a car. She normally points out intercoolers if theres any turbo stuff parked at the mall and stuff like that. The last time I was working on a guys car I ordered a WEIR mani for it. When it came in the mail I pulled it out of the box and asked her is she knew what it was... her response .... "Dad, thats where the TURBO go's !!! ....... can I please hold it for a while?"

When I had the turbo Tercel she always used to demand that I "Hit the boost", "REDLINE IT" and "lay some snaaaaaaaaakes"

Francis, well, he dosent do alot of anything, well, pooping I guess... hes fucking AWESOME at that. He's recently discovered that he can "jump" his ride on car down the step into the familty room, he seems to quite enjoy that.

Also; JD I have that same phone. I think I have some spare cords and batteries and stuff for it, let me know if she ever needs one. It's a cool phone, I can show her how to connect it to the PC. It's cheap but you can "haxxx" it and put on any pictures you want, mp3 music, any ringtones, gif style movies, etc.

Oh, HAI!

Your missing out dude. My wife and have been married 7 years this Aug, and we have our first...and shes 4 months old now. We spent a good portion of our 'early life' enjoying what life had to offer us, now that we have the kid, life couldn't be better.

I'm almost that bad, I don't take care of myself very well, but I do manage to take care of the wife.

Haven't ever let sit get bad enough to go without a roof over my head, power, heat, or food on the table, granted it may be rice and butter, but its food none the less.

I dont have any pics of my kids in Photobucket anymore .... but I picked this up last fall, thinking it would be fun for both of us. All I need to do is make a new set of pedals and rods that connect them to the ones that are there. Fuck power wheels nigga. BTW, its got a Honda GX160 on it. Anyone got a teeny tiny turbo?
