Hey guys, I just started to tune my car (b18b-450-t3/t04e). Now I've been using a basemap called "ls-450's-t25-7lb " and it's been working great for my motor and turbo. My a/f ratios are 14ish and about 11.3 in 5 lbs of boost. The only problem is when I turn up the boost to 10 lbs it's a bit lean 11.9-12.1. All I want to do was richen it up a bit.
New her is my question after the changes I made the a/f ratio went up to 13.9-14.6. No matter what I did I COULD NOT get the a/f ratio down. I added more fuel and even had the timing down to 6 degrees and still got 13.8 to 14.3 a/f ratio at 10 psi.
I made the changes on my home PC and I must have changed the chip like twenty times. Every time I made a change to the basemap the result was the same 14ish a/f ratios. Please help

Have you disabled the O2 sensor and tried it that way?

Your fine with your afrs at 11.9-12.1 just go back to your basemap

The O2 sensor is disabled! Plus Its not even wired to my ecu. The only part that's aftected is where I make my changes, the rest stays the same. I remember a screan shot of a something called target a/f ratios but can't seam to find it in crome.
The only reason I wanted lower a/f ratios is becouse it gets up to 120+ in the summer here.
Thanks guys any futher help whould be apreciated.

Timing is more important than fuel with higher air temps. Just pull a degree or two to be safe.
-
are you using Crome free or pro crome pro has target afr its the green A type symble
-
crome free. I really want to be able to tune my own maps more than anything. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Thanks guys

What version of crome are you using?

1.5.0

return to your previous setting 11.9 12.1 is perfect reduce the timing a touch.. *higher air temperatur* knock
-
so you were at 11.9-12.1 at 10psi, then you added fuel and now it's even leaner? :?:

Yea, must be something wrong with crome since no one else has had this problem. I'll try to reinstall it and make my own basemap. I'll let you guys know when I fix it.
