Title: socal rebuild now with 10% less dog hair

ok so the hmt socal people helped(pretty much built) the tegs engine when we had the meet. after hooking up a few loose ends i gave it ago and nothing. troubleshooted a bit, came up with nothing, checked compression, and shit wasnt right. given only the bottom end was refreshed, so i figured its something with the head since i didnt do jack shit to it.

anywho. i just dunno what the fuck is up. im gonna take the head to a local shop(perfect engine) and see what they say. possibly get it 'freshened up'

Post by: Ghetto_D on March 20, 2009, 09:52:23 PM: did you check the timing marks? did everything line up???? This shit happend to me once. car wouldnt start, The crank was at TDC, but the cam wasnt. It was off by 180Â°

check that. or check the valves see if they are closing all the way.
