Title: Cousin passed away, hfd police chief

Well yesterday my cousin Mike passed away after battling pancreatic cancer. It took his life only about 2 months after he was diagnosed.  My dad went over to visit his niece (his wife) today.  The worst part is he leaves his 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter making it that much more terrible.  It's on the front page of the big CT newspaper as he was the ast chief of hartford police until recently he was promoted to chief of the capital building police in hartford. The Governor visited him a few days ago to say goodbye. Please say a prayer for his family. I'm not a big cop fan but Mike was a straight cool ass guy and will be missed..

I feel for ya. :'( Last year my uncle died from liver cancer. 2 months previous he was fit as a fiddle. In that 2 year time span, 7 of my relatives passed away, sucky time.

Just remember the good times, how much they accomplished. Sounds like he was a good guy.

Sorry for your loss man, thats tough for everyone.  You should take some time off and spend some time w/your family.  Family comes first, and that support would help a lot.

Sorry.  I lost my old man 2 years ago to nasopharyngeal cancer. 

I need to stop huffing brakekleen, buying wg's from people that are destroying the environment, and working in a warehouse full of box dust...  I'll get around to it someday...

Sorry man, that sucks ass. My uncle was treated for a year for acid reflux before they finally found out it was cancer when he started coughing up blood. Went from being the cool ass dude with the new toys and different women all the time to walking dead in no time. Shit is scary as fuck.


On a side note. Johnny is a dick, but at least you can't say he's a poser. He's a prick anytime
