Title: Del Sol/NSX flasher relay
Post by: HiProfile on December 11, 2009, 03:21:28 AM
Has anyone had a 94 or newer Honda that did NOT use an electronic flasher relay, or had issues with a Honda blinker before? I'm starting to guess mine is some aftermarket unit, since the previous owner was a dumbass hick who liked to fix everything himself, usually not correctly.

Today it was about 0*F outside, and my blinkers decided to not work. Lately they've taken a second to flash, so I was figuring it was the cold. As usual, it doesn't seem to use a typical Civic relay. As far as I can tell, it's the same as an NSX relay, located near the main relay. All the Civics/Tegs I've ever had used electronic relays that were immune to cold weather. All other cars that used the old style just blinked slow, no delay in starting - this thing delays, but blinks normally afterwards.

Okay fuck you all and fuck this del sol.

I'm gonna find the biggest snow bank, drive it into it, and bury it for the winter. :-X
