Well my torch head is dead, should of replaced it months ago but have been procrastinating.
If I am replacing just the head will any wp-17 pretty much work as far as connections inside? I'd ask at my local supply house but I really don't want to get it there as more than likely I would get hosed on the price.
Was looking at this one

http://www.ckworldwide.com/ (http://www.ckworldwide.com/) hase good prices, and big selection. i think some of there stuff is not standered but if your buying a whole new torch just get some new collets and adapters i think the porcelain is all the same. i bought a CK 300amp water cooled torch with 25ft cable, gas lens, collets, procelain, the whole works for $140 from oxarc. see if your local supply house carrys them.

It should be the same. If it's not, you have enough copper to slice the ferrule off and put a new collar on. Most of them are standard though.

Cool I went ahead and snatched up the one in the link. I already have a 50' lead so really wanted to reuse it.
But am going to pick up a smaller torch to go along with it very soon, probably just buy the torch again and sacrifice the plug and lead from the stick clamp setup....I've never used the damn thing anyways.

i bought a dinse adapter and a miller torch. best thing i ever did for the welder. its so much nicer having a single line going to the torch then that bulky ass thermal arc torch. im into the torch and adapter for under $100

if it matters any, that seller is awesome. they got cheap filler rod and they ship super fast.

I know lincoln and miller are the same but TA. Who knows. I actually have a wp9 that I use when I use other peoples welders (same size and shape as wp20 on most water cooled units).I just take it with me.
