What do you guys think of these:

They've always looked interesting. Are they reliable? A pain to work on? Should I just look for a wagovan instead?

$4100? 200k? Are you shooting dope straight into your neck?
-
I had one. I loved it. Then it left me stranded me on the side of the road...a pulley grenaded. Every Subaru I have owned has ended in something catastrophic. Hard to work on, I would say its along the same lines as your typical civic. Sadly enough, I want another one. I would like a turbo forester. :?:
I would buy that with the intentions of doing a engine swap. If you want a 2.5RS, there are better options out there than the one you posted. 2.5rs.com, nasioc, dirtyimpreza.com ....
Here are the pictures of my 2.5rs

Yeah those cars look sexy but i wouldnt pay that damn much for it. like 2 maybe?
-
I also forgot to mention, I traded mine, blown up for a Integra that was listed at 3500 bucks. It had about $1500 worth of parts that were to me, the only thing valuable on that car.
2.5rs's hold value for whatever reason.

2.5 "Really Slow"
Otherwise they are pretty cool. One of those with either an STi motor or an EZ30R would be a blast.
-
I like the body/chassis of those.
-
I an not a Subaru fan at all, but I would rock a 2.5 RS.
-
The non-turbo Subarus are reliable, and easy to work on as long as you aren't splitting the block.
The turbo Subarus do a LOT better than I give them credit for IF you keep them stock.

i drove one the other day in the snow it was a blast. i loved the way it drove.
