Title: So...where to get a manifold?
Post by: Jorsher on May 06, 2010, 10:20:42 PM
This is not for immediate purchase and will be at least a month before I'm actively searching for one, but turdbo manifolds...

I'd *really* like to have AC AND turbo, but I'm not sure how possible that would be in the CRX without being a complete pain in the ass.

I plan to use a T3/T04e .60 with a stage 5 turbine as suggested by the grand master wizard of the internets.

I'd prefer equal length as I ASSume it would be less wear on the turbo (probably not enough to matter) and spool better if the "pulses" reached the turbine in a steady beat...

Obviously I'd also need a downpipe, and possibly 3" exhaust while I'm at it...

Who can make it?  How much should I expect to pay?  B-series, BTW.

CRX or OCZC?

Log if you want to retain A/C

Dude you have almost 8k post and yet you dont know that equal is a bunch of BS for the most part. CSaddict or Corey can make what ever you need.

$60 ebay cast mani.  The outer cylinders and inner cylinders are equal length :-*

I will tell you a/c and b series in a crx is not very easy and i have only seen 2 setup's that had a/c in years. So unless you want to spend a fuck ton for some guy to install and remove the parts 50 times to line everything up for fitment it's not happening.

Also if you want a decent manifold look into the quick-4 style manifolds. there compact and will make plenty of power.

Oh and equal length and shit is stupid. /thread

Buk makes all my manifolds for me now, I just charge $20 more and have him drop ship them.
